A disclaimer is a statement about your capacity to provide the services that you provide.
Disclaimer = a statement that specifies or delimits the scope of rights of visitors to your website AND it limits your obligations as the service provider and owner of your website.
You and the visitor are in a legal relationship and you are contractually bound by what you publish on your website.
The legal risks you are exposed to depends on your published content – information, advice, and instructions all expose you to potential legal claims if you are a therapy provider, or your business is centred in health, financial advice, legal advice or any industry where someone could take your content, apply it to their circumstances and potentially suffer loss or injury.
