Ensure you get paid for your service! The payment terms and refund policy are crystal clear.

Clearly define coach and client responsibility areas, ensuring clear communication between you and your clients.  The coaching agreement is drafted in plain English by a qualified, experienced Australian lawyer working daily with coaches.  By clearly identifying the terms of your agreement, you can lay solid foundations for your coaching relationship. Hence, all parties are clear on their obligations and how the relationship will work.

Deal with disputes quickly and easily, as your agreement covers different situations and how to resolve them –  and avoid disputes in the future.

Protect your business and assets - it is vital to have a contract in place to protect everything you have worked hard for.

Your business coaching agreement covers all the necessary components of an effective service agreement, including:

  • Coaching fees and payment terms
  • Booking requirements
  • Refunds
  • Confidentiality
  • Dispute resolution
  • Intellectual property
  • Plus all the usual contract expectations.

A privacy policy is a statement or a legal document that discloses how you gather, use, disclose, and manage a customer, website visitor, or client's data. It fulfils your legal requirement to protect a customer or client's privacy.

Why do I need a privacy policy?

If your website collects and/or uses personal information, you will need a Privacy Policy. If you have a website that accepts website traffic from anywhere in the world, you need a GDPR compliant Privacy Policy to comply with international law.

There are sizable fines for breaching the Privacy Act, so it is essential to comply.

Your Privacy Policy needs to address the personal information you collect, how you use and disclose this information, and how you store it. The policy is used to set out client rights to contact you, unsubscribe, make a complaint, or have their data erased.

PLEASE NOTE: Just having a Privacy Policy does not make your business GDPR compliant. It is merely one important part of the puzzle. Other operational measures need to be taken, as well. For more information, click here.

Terms Of Use are rules by which one must agree to use your website and operate in conjunction with your Privacy Policy.

Why do I need Terms of Use on my website?

If your business has a website, you will need a Terms Of Use policy to inform the users of your website of the rules of engagement with your website.  Your Terms of Use protects your business and your intellectual property and from potential liability from your website's use by visitors.

These terms help protect your website and inform what users can do, what is prohibited and includes a disclaimer to limit your liability when accessing your website.

These templates have been lovingly created by an Australian lawyer and small business specialist to better protect your business without the expense of a done-for-you service.

I used the Coaching Agreement template by Legally Shalini and it’s a really great template.  It came with an instructions page as well as very easy instructional boxes on the template with prompts to add your own details in.  It took me about 40 minutes to put together, and done; I have a working legal document! The formatting of the document and the areas you need to fill in are done really well, and are very obvious so you won’t miss anything important.  So far I’ve felt a little worried about getting this type of document, but now I feel a lot more confident.  Yulia, Madam Wealth.
